Today we went to Monterrey, CA to celebrate my birthday. It was such a fun day. Jason even drove both ways (he only likes driving long distances if it involves fishing). I got to order my favorite macadamia-crusted halibut from the Fish Hopper. Mmmm.
Evelyn and Jason playing in the water. Evelyn loved the water. The waves kept knocking her over but she just giggled and got back up. I'm glad we had extra clothes for her, but I wish we had remembered to bring towels. We hadn't planned on getting wet, but if there is water around we'll need to plan on Evelyn getting wet. She's our little water baby. I can't wait to take her swimming this summer.
Our pictures are little blurry because some little hands were playing with the camera earlier that day and left fingerprints all over the lens. Oh well, I guess we'll have to go back soon and get some more pictures.
We had so much fun I almost forgot how old I turned, or is forgetting a sign of old age?
