Today Elaine had her 2 Month Checkup; I can't believe how fast she is growing. She's grown three inches, 2 pounds and 5 ounces in two months. She already can't wear some 3 month size clothes because she's so long. We put her in a little one piece outfit that had a ruffle on the bum but instead of being on her bum it was above her bum and the legs looked like capris. She's just growing like a weed. During Elaine's check up, her pediatrician--Dr. Judith Vallero--said, "Hi, Elaine," as she was examining Elaine. Surprisingly, Elaine responded with, "Hi." Dr. Vallero looked at me in shock and exclaimed "she just said 'hi' to me." This was actually the third time that Elaine has said 'hi.' I think she's going to start talking soon. She's been making cooing sounds for awhile. We love laying her on the changing table and listening to her talk. We love you Elaine and we're so happy you came to our family.
