We went on a hike to Rockville Park in Fairfield. This wasn't Evelyn's first hike but it was her first hike were she had to walk. She loved all the rocks and dirt. She kept looking down at the ground with wonder. So many rocks. So much dirt. One little girl.
We had a picnic lunch at the little lake.
Did someone say water? Jason had to run after Evelyn many times to keep her from going into the water. When she sees water she wants to get wet and she usually does.

I did mention that she liked the dirt, too. She squatted down and played in the dirt. She kept oohing and awing until she ate some. It just doesn't taste as good as it looks.
I guess she didn't walk the entire time but most of the hike.
